I forgot to post a picture of the tinsel that hung in our room! Thanks, Dean, for helping to hang it! (I wish it was as easy to put up as it is to take down!)

OUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS SONG

Our favorite song is: "Rock 'n Roll Christmas!" This was one of the songs that we sang in the school "Chirstmas Sing."

Avery, Justin, Elizabeth, and Dakota sing at the parent program.

We had a three way tie for 2nd place:
"Jingle Bell Rock"
"Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"

Rainey sings in the parent program.

Our 3rd place song is: "Nice, Nice Christmas" This was also a song that we sang at the "Christmas Sing."

Miss Mitchell's youngest niece, Katie, came to see her niece, Jaycie, sing with her preschool class.

My great niece, Jaycie (in green), sang her heart out at the "Christmas Sing."

3. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

These are the Christmas lights on the front of my condo.

2. NATIVITY SETS

This is my nativity set in the foreground...but in the background, is my fireplace, with the Jazz stockings and Jazz Santa hat! haha

This Nativity set was mad by my Grandma Howard about 30 years ago. She gave it to me before she passed away in 2000.

This is my upstairs Christmas tree.

This is my famous DISNEY TREE! I have been collecting Disney ornaments for 25 years! I also have some Utah Jazz ornaments, a BYU ornament, and about 3 dozen crocheted snowflakes! The snowflakes were made by Ann Searle, who carpooled with me for 20 years...while we both taught at Alpine Elementary!

REINDEER GAMES!

Our end of month activity dealt with the song "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer!" In the song, it says: "All of the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names. They wouldn't let poor Rudolph, join in any REINDEER GAMES!" First, we made reindeer gift bags. Then we played Christmas Trivia, for the games!

THE MAKING OF A POM POM PILLOW

We are learning to make pom pom pillows! We wrap yarn around nails on a wooden frame. Depending on the pattern, that's how our pillow will be. After we wrap, we tie each square. We cut all but the bottom three yarns. And the fringe will is made when we cut it off the frame.
