THIS IS DEFINITELY A "PROUD MISS MITCHELL MOMENT!!!"

ANDY DOLLAR.
ONE OF THE SIDE LINE OFFICIALS (IN BLUE)
AT THE
GEORGIA BULLDOGS
VS
CLEMSON TIGERS

(pictures from Andy and his wife on Facebook...they live in Georgia)

Andy is one of the nicest boys I've ever taught!!!
He is the only one in 33 years that would help all of
the girls move their desks every 2 weeks when we made
a new seating arrangement!

But, then...his father managed Big-O Tires in the 80's and 90's.
He would pick my car up at school, have oil changed and tires rotated,
and bring it back to the school!!!

I taught 5 of the 7 Dollar $$$ children.

TWINNERS / NOT TWINNERS

I have taught many sets of twins in my teaching career.
Over the years, I have taught students
who look like other students I've taught,
but they are not related.
I used to tell them, too.
They could have passed as identical twins,
had they been in 5th grade together!!!
(one pair were)

Check out my look-a-like twinners,
who are not twinners.
(I wish I knew how to place these side by side!)

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL . . . PART 5 (THE FINAL INSTALLMENT)

On Tuesday, August 26, Carter and Addie started Preschool!
They are in the same class.
They are in an Alpine School District Preschool, and
attend at Saratoga Shores Elementary.
Like all the other kiddos, I am paying their tuition.

Ashley said she had told Addie the last couple of years
that she would get to go to school when she got bigger.
When she woke up this morning, her mother said she was
finally big enough to go to school.
Addie ran to the mirror and looked at herself and said,
"Yup.  I'm bigger!!!"

Ashley also said they just lined up together, waiting to go in.
Addie kept turning around and waving...so excited.
She said Carter was just "going with the flow."

That sure sounds like their parents...Ashley and Chris.

Of the 13 great nieces and nephews, 10 are in school.
(All but Heidi's 3)

The schools they attend are:
Vista Heights Middle School
Goshen Elementary
Sage Hills Elementary
Riley Elementary
Saratoga Shores Elementary
Genola Pre-School

And, for a little side note,

AUGUST FOOL

Just like April Fool sometimes focuses on the wacky weather,
this is what I woke up to this morning . . .

SNOW ON TIMP!

I've seen snow in Utah every month except July and August!
Now, I can cross August off that list!
Hard to believe!!!
(Of course, we need water!!!)
