BEFORE THE PARADE PASSES BY

For 3 or 4 summers, my friends and I
were in the
STEEL DAYS PARADE.

It was with our dance teacher,
Mrs. Earl.

In the parades, we got to twirl
our batons!

I saw this picture on Facebook,
and the memories came flooding back!

This is Laurel Shelley, her sister and my good friend,
Lynnell Shelley, and Susan Shelley who
lived in my ward.

Renae, Carol, and I were also in the group.
I loved these outfits!
They look like dresses here, but
there was a slit in the front, and
white shorts underneath.

When Renae and I went to Mexico,
we were these outfits one day in
Mexico City.

WESTLAKE DANCE COMPANY

Courtney has had a dance class at high school.
We went to her school recital.
It was very good!
(On a kind of sad note . . . the Jazz were 25 points
ahead when we left the school.  It was tied when
we pulled into the garage.  We lost by 8.  On a
good note . . . we won game #6 at home!)

Courtney did the first dance after intermission.
"Greetings From The Future"
