DAY 2 APRIL 14---Plimoth Plantation, Mayflower II, Plymouth Rock
1. Mrs. Pettit, Miss Mitchell, and Mrs. Smith with the "Mooflower."
2. Mrs. Pettit (former 4th grade teacher and TSA at Alpine), Mrs. Smith (2nd grade). Mrs. Martinek (former 5th grade teacher at Alpine)
3. Mrs. Pettit shows how a woman went shopping to the "Colonial WalMart"
4. Mrs. Martinek plays a colonial game.
5. A colonial lunch (I liked the soup and turkey, but most every food had vinegar in it)
1. Wampanoag Village
2-5. Plimoth Plantation Everyone works in a colonial village.
1. Mayflower II. This is a replica of the original Mayflower, the ship that brought the Pilgrims to America.
2. Crow's Nest on Mayflower II.
3. This is Michael, our friend who visited our school last December (see December post). He was portraying Captain Christopher Jones, the captain of the original Mayflower. I could not believe this was him!!!
4. Plymouth Rock sign.
5. THE Plymouth Rock. The shadows and light wasn't good, but I actually got to see it!!!
