SEPTEMBER END-OF-MONTH ACTIVITY...BURGESS PARK

Our September end-of-month activity was held at Burgess Park. In order to participate in these activities, each student must have 25 stickers, and complete 5 SRA reading skills cards and 2 book reports. We had a bubble gum blowing contest. Prizes were awarded for the first, biggest, and longest held bubbles. We played Shambattle, beach volleyball (only 1 group...before both balls popped), played with the parachute, team building games, and played on the playgrounds.

Our October end-of-month activity will be on Friday, October 30. It will be the Halloween party. Students will need to have 25 stickers (most already have this), 2 book reports and 5 SRA reading skills cards. Because the activity will be held at the end of the day, students will also need their "back work" completed from their weekly note.
