Here is a little something funny about this unit:

Student (girl): "What kind of outfits did the soldiers wear in the Civil War?" Me: "You mean uniforms?" Student: "Yeah. Did they wear shorts?" Me: "Ummm...no. They needed protection...long pants and sleeves." Student: "The Civil War soldiers wore capris!"

Her unit cover was soldiers in blue and grey tee shirts and capris! The tee shirts each had a big white "X" to make it look like a uniform!
