Diane Walter's husband, Kent, passed away unexpectedly the
day before his birthday.
He was a great man!
I was able to have my retirement party with Diane and Don.
Kent
Walter, of Alpine, Utah, passed away January 2, 2015 in Salt Lake City
due to complications from bladder cancer. He was born January 3, 1948
in Billings, Montana, the son of Alvin Samuel and Laurue Nelson Walter.
Kent married Diane Brinkerhoff November 25, 1972, in the Provo LDS
Temple, Provo, Utah.
Kent enjoyed horse riding, road biking, hunting, playing with his grandkids, playing softball, gardening, dutch oven cooking, scouting, and listening to bluegrass music.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; children: Janice (Hans) Andersen, Julie (Sam) Mills, Nathan (Emily) Walter, Andrea (Eric) Ruben, Danielle Walter, and Adam Walter; 13 grandchildren; and four sisters and three brothers. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at the Alpine 9th Ward church, 901 East Village Way, Alpine. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Funeral Chapel, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland, and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 A.M. prior to the services at the church.
