Sooo happy to have found this little gem!
This is a photo from 1960 of the
"Big Hand Café".
It was located on the corner of Main Street and
St. George Boulevard.
The nickname was "the greasy finger."
Grandma Mitchell worked here.
All of the Greyhound buses stopped here.
You could walk north one block, and east one block,
and be there.
Back then, the Boulevard was just another street and
not that much traffic.
(as you can see by all the cars in the picture)
I also love the light.
That was the typical size and shape when I was growing up.
And, there were very few in a town.
