THE
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
BEAT
THE
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
28-24
IN SUPER BOWL #49.
SEATTLE ACTUALLY HAD THE GAME IN THE BAG!
THEY HAD 4 TRIES TO GO A COUPLE OF YARDS FOR THE WIN.
ON 2ND DOWN, WITH THE BEST RUNNING BACK IN THE GAME IN THE BACKFIELD,
THE QUARTERBACK THREW THE BALL.
INTERCEPTION!
THE PLAYER WHO INTERCEPTED IT WAS EVEN A ROOKIE!!!
THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS HAVE BEEN MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL
TEAM SINCE STEVE YOUNG RETIRED FROM THE 49ERS.
I REALLY LIKE THEM, BECAUSE I'VE BEEN THERE TWICE.
(I'VE BEEN TO SEATTLE TWICE, BUT I'VE NEVER LIKED THEM.)
LAST TIME I WAS THERE, IN APRIL OF 2009, WE WENT TO SEE THE
REENACTMENT OF THE BATTLE OF CONCORD.
WE TALKED TO THE MISSIONARIES THERE.
ONE, EVEN LIVED AROUND THE CORNER FROM ME...BUT A DIFFERENT STAKE.
WHEN I ASKED WHERE THEY LIVED, THEY TOLD ME
RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE PATRIOTS STADIUM!
MY FAMILY HAD A SUPER BOWL PARTY.
WE HAD EVERYONE BUT CAMILLE, ASHLEY, AND THEIR FAMILIES,
AND KIM.
AND KIM.
(NEW BABY FOR ASHLEY)
WE HAD THE BEST FOOD!!!
IPHONE PROBLEMS...BLURRY IF SOMEONE MOVES.
COURTNEY & COLE DO THEIR "PATRIOTS DANCE" AFTER FIRST TOUCHDOWN.
THE "LITTLES" PLAYED IN THE GUEST BEDROOM.
(CARTER, LILY, OAKLEY)
NOTICE THE RED AND YELLOW "CONNECT 4" PIECES.
ALL LINED UP IN A PATTERN.
THEY WERE DECORATING.
HALFTIME WITH KATY PERRY.
IT WAS SOOOO WEIRD!
THE OLDER KIDS LOVED IT!
KATIE & McKAY SWING COLE
THE TWINNERS TURN TO SWING.
BROOKLYN & ALLY
McKAY IS SNOOZING.
ALLY SMILING.
BROOKLYN BLOCKING LORI.
DON'T KNOW WHAT KATIE'S DOING.
CHEEZY ALLY
HEIDI TOLD ME THAT WHEN YOU TAKE A PICTURE OF
THE TWINS, WHEN THEY SEE THE FLASH...THE "CHEESE."
THERE'S ENOUGH TIME BETWEEN THE FLASH AND IT
GOING OFF TO GET A GOOD PICTURE.
ALLY CHEESING WITH HER MOM
HALEY, BROOKLYN, KATIE, ALLY, & HEIDI HO
I GOT THIS SHIRT FOR CARTER LAST YEAR AT THE JAZZ GAME.
HIS HEAD BECOMES THE PLAYER'S HEAD.
HE WAS ROOTING FOR THE SEAHAWKS.
WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY...HE SAID HE DIDN'T KNOW
WHAT KIND OF ANIMAL A PATRIOT WAS!!!
AND THE BACK
NEXT YEAR WILL BE THE 50TH SUPER BOWL!!!
I HAVE SEEN EVERY ONE!!!
WHEN THEY FIRST DID IT IN 1966, IT WAS AN EXPERIMENT.
WINNERS OF EACH CONFERENCE PLAYED AGAINST EACH OTHER.
JUST LIKE EAST & WEST PLAY EACH OTHER IN BASKETBALL.
I WAS IN 2ND GRADE.
