AUNT TAN

Addie has been going to Reading Recovery.

Her teacher wrote a sentence down that Addie dictated to her.

They cut the words, and Addie had to practice

putting the sentence in order at home, then gluing it in the book.

Ashley decided to do a little correction.

The teacher's note was hysterical!!!

I guess when you say it fast, it does sound like 

"Aunt Tan!"

Ally calls me "Tant Tan", 

but her mother calls me

"Antenna!"

Also, Shalana's granddaughter in kindergarten

had a similar experience.

They were testing her for speech.  One of the

things they said Oakley had a hard time with was

the "Gr" blend.  The teacher said she will say

"Da'ma" instead of "Grandma."

Brittney said that's what they all call her . . . "Da'Ma!"
