HUNTER IS THE BIG ELEVEN!!!

On Thursday, July 2, Hunter will be 11 years old! Hunter has 3 brothers and 4 sisters. His sister, McKenzie, was one of Miss Mitchell's students! Hunter is also an uncle! He has 2 nephews! Hunter loves football, basketball, and of course...as everyone knows...he's a HUGE fan of U of U football, and the New Orleans Saints! Hunter was the top Social Studies student and top academic boy this year! He also received a gold award for top academic boy at the school Awards Assembly! Hunter was always one of the top 5 qualifiers each month for the end-of-month activity! He is always very helpful, positive, and a friend to all!!! Happy birthday, Hunter!!!

LINZEY'S BIG DAY!

On Monday, June 29, Linzey will be 11 years old! Linzey has 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She likes to dance, play, swim, sleep ,and read. She loves going to Disneyland! A favorite experience for Linzey was when she and her family went to Russia for 2 months!

BIG DAY FOR KELI!

On Wednesday, June 17, Keli turns 11! Keli likes to swim and play with friends. She has 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and is an aunt! Keli likes to go to the beach, and visit Texas, Washington, and Oregon. Keli was the top P.E. and Art student this year! She also had a rare accomplishment for anybody attending school anywhere in the world---she had 100% attendance and 100% being on time!!! School this year was also a family affair for Keli---her brother was in her class, and, her mom was an aide every morning in our classroom! Happy Birthday, Keli!

JUNE 12 IS THE BIG DAY!

On Friday, June 12, Eli will turn 11! She has 3 sisters, and loves to hang out with them! She love to dance, cheer, sleep, and party! When Eli was 5, her dance teachers were Derek and julianne Hough...of "Dancing With the Stars" fame! Favorite places she has been are Hawaii, Las Vegas, Disneyland, and Mexico! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELI!

LAUREN'S BIG DAY!

On June 5, Lauren will turn 11! Lauren is an original "grandstudent" of Miss Mitchell's! Her dad was in Miss Mitchell's class 26 years ago!!! Lauren has 2 brothers. She loves, loves, LOVES to dance! She also likes to play, swim, sleep, and read! Fun trips have taken her to Georgia, Virginia, and Alabama! She was the top P.E., math, and top "Academic Girl" in our class this year!

On the afternoon of the last full day of school, we had a water party! There were four events that we participated in. Water Kickball, Sponge Toss, Cup Relay, and Miss Mitchell's event, "Pearl Diving 2009!"

We had to blow up a balloon, tie it in a knot, and have it measured with a metric tape measure.

If we still had our balloon, we participated in the Blow Race. We had several heats. You had to be on hands and knees. You could not touch the balloon, but had to just blow.

We had to throw a piece of styrofoam as far as we could (harder than it sounds).
