We even saw "Professional Protesters."

These were people who went city-to-city

to organize the protests.

Even Salt Lake City joined in.

I WANTED SAN FRANCISCO TO WIN BECAUSE:

1.  I'VE BEEN TO SAN FRANCISCO

AND

2.  I HAVEN'T BEEN TO KANSAS CITY

IT WAS THE BOTTOM OF THE 9TH INNING.

THE GAME WAS ON IN THE COUNCOURSE

AND FANZZ STORES AT THE ESA.

EVERYBODY STOPPED TO WATCH.

WE HAD TO TOO, CUZ THE PEOPLE

WERE NOT MOVING.

2009 WORLD SERIES

The 2009 World Series ended this week...but not the same way as our poll! For the first time ever, we had a TIE! 50% of the voters picked the Yankees, and 50% picked last year's winner, the Phillies! The Yankees ended up winning their 27th World Series! Can you say DYNASTY?

THE PHILADELPHIA PHIILIES ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONS! After a game 5 rain delay, the Phillies quickly won the series 3 - 1 over the Tampa Bay Rays. Our class wanted the Tampa Rays, but Miss Mitchell's team, the Phillies, prevailed. (Miss Mitchell's vote was only a city she had been to)
