SCIENCE DAY

On Friday, April 26, the Discovery Gateway

came to our school to present a science program.

It was so much fun!!!

We were able to mix different chemicals to see what would happen.

STATES OF MATTER DAY

We were able to have a girl from the Discovery Museum at the Gateway in Salt Lake City.  She taught us a lot about physical and chemical changes!

Creating colors

Three powders...three different colors

John was able to help.

Making a "burp."

The more she mixed this, the more it grew!

After the grade level assembly, each class was able to experiment!

Paul, Mariah, and Josh

Cedric, Blake, Preston, Tyson

John, Garrett, Jacob

Callie, Syd S., Brynna

Brynna and Syd C.

Camden and Maren

Zane, Bryant, and John

We mixed different liquids. Then, we had to write down what happened.  They did a lot of different things...like bubbling over, or getting warm.

Gentry

Mariah, Seth, and Jacob
