GIRAFFE DAY

Tuesday, May 24, was "Giraffe Day."  Because giraffes make no noise...neither do we!  We spent the ENTIRE day trying not to talk.  We could communicate only by writing notes.

Because we could not talk..we just worked on our Civil War and Anatomy units.

ANATOMY UNIT

Our Anatomy health unit was really fun! We learned about the Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Circulatory, Digestive, and Respiratory Systems. We had to figure out optical illusion images, and also figure out what we touched, smelled and tasted! Some were great, others not fun!

GIRAFFE DAY!!!

Miss Mitchell's favorite school day of the year is "Giraffe Day!" What is Giraffe Day? Because giraffes make no noise...neither do we!!! Students AND Miss Mitchell go from 9:05 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. without any talking! This is part of our Anatomy health unit. It is REALLY hard to do! Most kids just give up and work on their unit work...since writing out notes takes too long. Enjoy the following pictures...see how tired the kids look!
