NEVER FORGET . . . 9-11

The students this year were less than a year old
when our world changed forever.

It's hard to forget the look on President Bush's face
when he received the news...as he was reading to a school class in Florida.

Two hijacked planes, flown by terrorists who had taken over the planes, crashed them into the World Trade Center Towers...the tallest buildings in the U.S.

Other terrorist planes struck the Pentagon in
Washington D.C. and another plane,
that was heading for the White House, was
brought down in a Pennsylvania field by the
passengers on board.

Many heroes emerged from the tragedy.

President Bush rallied the rescue workers.

Firemen raise the American flag.

THE FUNKY RELAY

CAN YOU SAY, "FUNKY RELAY?"
For P.E., we had relays where we had to pass a beanbag that was held between our feet, over our heads, and into the "foot grasp" of the person behind us.
IT IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS!
