every Thanksgiving a turkey
receives a pardon from the
President of the United States!
That means he/she will not end up as someone's
Thanksgiving turkey.
This year's pardoned turkey has been sent to live at
Mt. Vernon
the home of President George Washington.
President Obama has a little help from his daughters,
Malia and Sasha.
