CIVIL WAR DUCKS!

We have missed A LOT of recesses this month!  We have had to stay inside for the torrential downpours of rain, snow, sleet, and hail.  It's hard to entertain ourselves.
On this particular day, we had been learning about the advantages that the North and the South had during the Civil War.
We found out that the North had way more soldiers than the South.  This is our North to South soldier comparison.

MEET MY NEWEST FAMILY MEMBER!

On Friday, May 6, I took a personal day to go to my niece's husband's graduation at the University of Utah.  Mike was receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.  But...I never made it to the graduation!

Because...this cute little bundle of joy decided to come to join the festivities!
Her mom and dad had attended a wedding early that morning.  Then to the hospital.
Happy Mother's day to Heidi!

APRIL END-OF-MONTH ACTIVITY

For our April End-of-Month Activity, we made these . . .

"Bath Salt Sundaes!"

The bath salts were layered in a sundae cup.  A shower scrubber was placed on top, with a pom pom "cherry" placed on top.
A cute sun was hot glued to the straw.
