CLEAR CREEK 2008
WE'RE HEADING TO CLEAR CREEK!
This was our meeting room. We met here for general instructions, prize drawings, skits, dancing, singing, and a movie!
We had a fun Scavenger Hunt! We had to each find a Hawaiian lei, 4 marbles, a glow in the dark bouncy ball, a key chain, a friendship rope bracelet, and a back scratcher. The first 10 students with everything received a candy bar!
Mr. Stephenson explains "Mohawk Walk." We had to walk across cables with our spotter. We also swung on a rope, and walked holding on to suspended ropes that were spaced apart!
Luke, Ben, and Ryan W.
Ryan W. swings!

Mrs. Weakley tries it!
Skyler and Keli
"Wild Woosey" was another "trust" activity. You had to walk across on cables, pushing on your partner's hands. Hunter and his partner, and Luke and his partner went the furthest!
"Nitro Crossing" is where we had to swing on a suspended rope over to a platform. Each person swung to the platform, and helped their teammates onto the platform.
"Whale Watch" is where we also tested our balancing skills. It was a balancing platform. We had to figure out how to get everyone in the group on, without having the ends touch.
Elizabeth's mom took us on a hike.
Eli maneuvers herself on the log.
"T.P. Shuffle" tested our balancing skills. We had to try to walk from one end of the log to the other. There were kids coming from both sides, and we had to change places with each other in the middle.
We had fun playing Bingo. Ryan W. wonders if he will ever win!
"Cups" was an interesting activity. We had to work together as a team. We had to stack cups, and build a pyramid, with elastic and string going over them.
"Sandtrap" was an experience in trust. We had to trust our partner to help us maneuver through the sandtrap while we were blindfolded.
We decorated bucket hats with Keli and Skyler's mom. Elly models her creation.
SKITS WERE LOTS OF FUN!
CAMP SONGS
LIMBO---HOW LOW CAN YOU GO!!!
The relay was really fun! Each person on the team had to run across the room, blow up a balloon, pop it, and complete the task that was inside. Each person had a different task to complete.
Mr. Stephenson taught us a fun math game called "Uncle Bay."
Before going to our cabins for the night, we got our sleeping bags and pillows, changed into our pajamas, and watched a movie. We had the school popcorn machine, and had a bag of popcorn with treats inside. We also had juice, carrots, celery, apples, oranges, and a glow stick (but not to eat). Thanks to Mrs. Hoover, our fabulous secretary, for treat shopping!
