IT'S SEP TIME!
It's that time again~~~SEPs! Go to http://alpine.alpinedistrict.org Click on the online scheduler icon. Sign up your child for SEPs! The first 10 students to sign up will receive 2 stickers. All others will receive 1. I'm sorry you have not been able to check on your child's grades online. The district is changing from "Powergrade" to a new program called "Skyward."
Weekly notes still come home every Monday. Outside reading of 100 minutes a week is still required. (Worth 100 points a week on the reading grade.) Students can count family reading time, too. Please fill out your child's folder each week and sign. Thanks!

RISE & SHOUT! THE COUGARS ARE NOT BACK OUT!!!
This is me with my cousin, Kellie. Kellie lives in Jacksonville, Florida, and came out to attend the BYU - Florida State game.
After 17 years of sitting in Portal GG Section 123 Row 26 Seats 1 & 2...my foot and knee said it was time for a change. My new seats are Portal GG Section 122 Row 7 Seats 22 & 23
Max Hall is ready to score.
The players congratulate Harvey Unga on a touchdown!
Mitch Payne kicks the extra point.
My cousin said that the men always accompanying Coach Bobby Bowden were 3 Florida State Troopers! I think Bobby Bowden is bigger than the FSU program! (Michael Jordan would only have 1 bodyguard with him!

CLEAR CREEK 2009
CLEAR CREEK
Clear Creek is a camp owned by the Alpine School District between Scofield Reservoir, and the towns of Scofield and Clear Creek. It is about 100 minutes from Alpine. In 1900, a huge mine explosion happened near Scofield. Today, there is a huge boy scout camp near the reservoir. We spent September 14 & 15 down there! Thanks to our chaperones: Tonya Ahlstrom, Emily Gibb, and Joseph Moffat. An extra special thanks to Mr. Stephenson, who is always willing to come, and to Mrs. Hoover, who does the shopping for us!
