HOPE OF AMERICA PART 2

So here I am...2 1/2 hours before show time. I come really early, because some students come that early!

Can you see Ms. Washburn?

Great view!

This is Jean from the "Golden Girls." These ladies are age 55 and older, and perform all over. Jean is now 92!!! Pretty impressive!!!

This is the 4th grade from our school performing the number, "The United States of America!" What a privilege to perform this each year!

This song, America Rocks, was written by our US Senator, Orrin Hatch! And yes, America does ROCK!!!

Can you see us? We are the botom white stripe!

We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.

Our final number was "We Can Be A Light." The song was performed in the dark, with flashlights and a mirror ball being used in the chorus.

The "Big 4"...Miss Mitchell...Miss Wayman...Ms. Washburn...Mr. Goff

It has been a tradition that the 5th grade teachers go out to eat at Brick Oven after the performance. Teachers with 5th graders join us, too! We had Mr. Finlayson (5th grade teacher last year) and his children; Mrs. Payne and daughter; Mrs. Hall, her husband and daughter; Mrs. Hoover and husband; Mrs. Hyde and daughter; Mr. Stephenson, his children and scouts. It was soooooo much fun!!!
