TWO BIG BIRTHDAYS ON AUGUST 25!

Two of our students, Dustyn and Rachel, both turned 10 on August 25!



Rachel is the youngest child in her family. She has 2 older brothers and one older sister. Rachel likes to read and lay with her friends. Her favorite food to eat is chocolate! Favorite places she has visited are: Florida, New York, Texas, Minnesota, Missouri, Disneyland, and the Mall of America. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RACHEL!!!



Dustyn is the oldest child in his family, and has 2 younger sisters. He likes to study computers, play basketball, and draw. Pizza is his favorite food. Fun places Dustyn likes to go to are a cabin, Seven Peaks, and Texas. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DUSTYN!!!

RYAN TURNS ANOTHER YEAR OLDER!!!

On Friday, August 14, Ryan will be 11 years old! Ryan has two brothers and three sisters. He is the 5th out of 6 children. One of his sisters, Kjerstin, was a student in Miss Mitchell's class! Ryan likes to play soccer and ride his scooter. Ryan loves to go to Lava Hot Springs, the American Fork pool, and camping. Ryan also likes the color green --- and pi (No one knows why, but he has memorized out to about 300 digits!). One of Ryan's best qualities is his kindness to others! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RYAN!!!

KATIE'S BIG DAY!

On Tuesday, August 4, Katie will be 11 years old!!! Katie has 3 sisters and 1 brother. Her older sister, Kilee, had Miss Mitchell as a teacher! Katie's dad grew up going to Alpine Elementary. Katie's mom was a Young Woman when Miss Mitchell served in the AF West Stake Young Women. Katie loves to play video games, watch tv, and play with Caitlin. After Clear Creek and the rubber duckies, Katie began quite a collection! Fun places Katie has visited are: Las Vegas, Ohio, and Topeka, Kansas! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATIE!!!

OUR PIONEER ANCESTORS

Our poll question, "Did you have pioneer ancestors?" had 41 voters who had pioneer ancestors. Four people did not. Thank you to all who sacrificed to establish our great state!

BROOK'S BIG DAY!

On Thursday, July 16, Brook will be 11! Brook has 3 brothers and 1 sister. Brook likes to play baseball and basketball. He also likes to attend Jazz basketball games, where his seats are two sections away from Miss Mitchell. Favorite places Brook has visited are Hawaii, Oregon, and Alaska. Brook was always one of the top five qualifiers for our end of month activities! Brook was the top READING student, top LANGUAGE student, and TOP ACADEMIC BOY. Happy Birthday, Brook!!!

BIRTHDAY TIME FOR SHANNON!

On Tuesday, July 14, Shannon will be 11 years old! She was new to our class in the spring. Shannon has 4 sisters. She likes to swim, paint, and play veterinarian. Shannon loves animals. She is also very thoughtful. When Miss O was celebrating her birthday, Shannon bought her a candy bar from the Trading post. Shannon's favorite place to visit is Lake Powell. Happy birthday, Shannon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG!!!

On Friday, July 10, Greg will be eleven years old!!! Greg has two older sisters. Greg is also an uncle, and has one nephew and one niece. Jumping on the tramp and riding his bike are Greg's favorite activities. Trips to Lagoon, Disneyland, and Fiji have been favorite trips! Happy Birthday, Greg!!!

SARAH IS ELEVEN!

On Thursday, July 3, Sarah turns 11! Sarah has two brothers and three sisters. Sarah's most favorite thing in the whole wide world is horses!!! Favorite places Sarah has traveled to are California, Missouri, Iowa, Hawaii, Mexico, and Sweden. Sarah is extremely kind, and a good friend to all! Happy birthday, Sarah!!!
