CLASS OF 2015

The Class of 2015.

These were the kiddos I had from 2007-2008.

And...the only time I missed any extensive amount of school.
(In 33 years, I probably missed 10 days for being sick.  I missed once a month
for 3 years for history class, a few trips, and classes/meetings.
Maybe 33 days in 33 years...then 25 for surgery and recovery...maybe 60 days total...an average of about 2 to 2.5 days a year!)

I missed from the Tuesday after Thanksgiving until

the Tuesday before MLK Day.

I was laid up with foot surgery for 7 weeks from torn tendons.

Five of the weeks were school days, 2 were Christmas break.

Jane Boulter was my long term sub.

If a student sends me a graduation announcement, I always
send a $25 gift card.  I get a few every year.

Alpine School District!

Most of my kiddos graduated from Lone Peak High School.

Alexandria Fisher
Ali was "Marta" in the Sound of Music at Tuachan.
She missed the last month of school, for being in St. George
for rehearsals.  Mom and I went to see her perform.
Headed to BYU.

Bronson Gregory
Youngest child in the Gregory family.  
Taught several of his cousins.
Heading to Santa Cruz Bolivia on a mission.

Hayley Brown
Soooo sweet.  I added another photo, 
because it's hard to see her face.

Michael Evans
Son of Fox 13 Anchor, Bob.  
Taught his sister, Lisa, and brother, Paul.
Academic All State in baseball.
Heading to Frankfurt Germany on a mission.

Elizabeth Moffat
Elizabeth is a "grandstudent."
I taught her mother, Jessica Evans.  Also, taught
Aunt Jodi, Uncle Jonny, sister Maddie, and brother, Thomas.
She could do a Rubix Cube in less that a minute!!!

Braxton Bruni
Braxton took "State" in basketball 2 of his 3 years
at Lone Peak.  During his sophomore year, they
won the high school national championship!
He will attend Treasure Valley in Oregon on a
basketball scholarship.

McKay missed the entire month of September
in 5th grade.  He and his family traveled back East
to see all the history sites.  I had him send postcards
to our class from the places he visited!

founded the Utah Shakespearean Festival!

Kylie Dubois
Kylie's mom, Bonnie Hansen, was one of the
Young Women (16th Ward) in my stake when I
was in the Stake Young Women.
Going to work and save money.

Mr. Baseball.  Even played on the
state all star team!  All State Academic in baseball.
Honorable Mention in baseball for Utah Valley.
Headed to Panama City, Panama on a mission.

to his new wife, Cortney Mitchell (Jeff and Suzette's daughter)
Went to Nationals in Science Fair as both a junior and senior.
Won $80,000 scholarship to Westminister...and 1 year to BYU.

All 5 graduated from American Fork. All 5 are Ann Searle's grandkids! All 5 belong to all Ann's sons!
Brittany belongs to Scott & Val, Dallin & Audrey belong to Steve & Ali (Ali is an Alpine Elementary Alum), Jacob belongs to Jeff & Leanne, Lexi belongs to Greg & Shauna.
They've been in school together since Kindergarten!
