Rachel Nilsson is the purple-haired mom behind the baby clothing line,Rags and Raches. When her husband finished grad school and the student loan bills started coming in, financially strapped Rachel started selling some of her children’s hand-me-downs online. Then she started selling some of the clothes she made for them -- and her baby rompers were a huge hit. Now the momtreprenuer from Alpine, Utah is flying to Los Angeles to pitch her successful business on Shark Tank. Within two years, the social media savvy seamstress has made a handsome profit. Her rompers sell for $38-50. The Sharks are impressed, especially Robert Herjavec who says it’s one of the most profitable products the Tank has ever seen.
On Shark Tank, Nilsson is ready to make a deal – she tells Kevin O’Leary she wants to become Mrs. Wonderful, but she will be forced to make a tough decision. Nilsson of Rags and Raches will appear on a special Shark Tankepisode that features all Made in the USA products on February 21 at 10pm on ABC.
Rachel Hofheins appeared on Shark Tank. Her children's clothing line was amazing!!! It's a one piece romper, that the neck stretches out for them to pull down! I taught her sisters, Becca & Aspen.
Rachel Hofheins . . . making Alpine Elementary proud!!!
