KIMMMY + BUD

On Thursday, October 22, Karen's youngest, Kimmy,
was married in the St. George Temple to
her High School Sweetheart!
Their wedding day, October 22, was the anniversary
of their first date.
The theme was sunflowers.
(Her mother's theme was rainbows)
And, just like CaLea, she wore her mother's dress!

(Some pictures were mine...some from Facebook)

The little nieces were soooo excited to pack her train!

St. George & Salt Lake Temples
Tradition of "loading the stairs"
with family, friends, and guests who were at the sealing.

Didn't get the color memo.
(At Timpanogos Temple, they request in the letter to not have
the wedding parties come in the wedding attire.  They don't
want a roomful of people in wedding clothes at the sealing.
However, Kimmy and Bud were married in the sealing room
where you have to wear white, because you have to go through
the Celestial Room to get there.  Fourth time at a sealing in that room)

One day, I messaged Karen on Facebook and asked
how she knew Julie Hobbs Mizukawa.
She said, "She's my best friend in my ward."
"How do you know her?"
Julie was one of my students...probably in the mid 90's.
Small world!

Grand Send Off

My gift was a Jazz game!
They went on Saturday, November 7
vs Memphis Grizzlies.
Worked out great cuz they were in SLC the day
before...as Wayne's team was in the high school
playoffs at the U.
