Nothing says “Christmas Surprise”
like a drop in visit to my classroom from my very own
After the Christmas Sing at Sage Hills Elementary,
I decided to visit a former student of mine.
Jodi Evans Smith.
She had just gotten remarried, and I
took her wedding gift and her sister, Jessica's, wedding gift.
Jessica had been a single mother for 10 years.
She put herself through school, and is in her 3rd year
of teaching 2nd grade at Thunder Ridge Elementary
in Saratoga Springs.
