In March of 2004, Taylor Rhodes conducted the Utah Symphony!
When they called me and said it was our school's turn to have the student conductor, they said to hold tryouts. I told them there was only one kid who could do it! Taylor traveled a few times to Salt Lake to rehearse with them. We didn't tell the kids he was doing it! Loved the shocked look on the class's faces! Best student conductor I have ever seen!!!
