FAIR WEATHER DAYS

THIS WINTER WEATHER HAS BEEN A.MA.ZING!!!

I REMEMBER 2 BAD DAYS IN NOVEMBER.
BOTH WERE BYU FOOTBALL GAMES.
THE FIRST ONE, THE WIND CHILL WAS -14.
THE SECOND ONE, IT RAINED AND SNOWED THE ENTIRE TIME.
THAT WAS THE ONLY TIME I WORE MY BOOTS.

IN DECEMBER, EVERYONE WAS SCREAMING ABOUT A
WHITE CHRISTMAS.
WELL, WE GOT IT!
JUST IN TIME!!!

BUT, THESE 6 WEEKS SINCE CHRISTMAS HAVE BEEN
UNBELIEVABLE!!!

WE HAD A TON OF DAYS IN JANUARY IN THE 50's.
NO SNOW.
NO ICE.
NO DRIVING ON BAD ROADS WITH BAD DRIVERS.
IT'S BEEN GREAT TO DRIVE TO JAZZ GAMES, AND WALK IN.
(WHEN I HAD CHARCOT FOOT, AND THE WEATHER WAS BAD,
I HAD ADONNA PICK US UP FOR GAMES, AND WENT IN BY WHEELCHAIR.
NOT GOING TO RISK FALLING!!!)

NOW, IN THE FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY,
WE ARE HITTING THE 60's...EVEN 70's!!!
IT'S BEEN LIKE LATE MARCH, OR EARLY APRIL.

I UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF SNOW...ESPECIALLY
IN THE MOUNTAINS.
AND THE FACT THAT WE LIVE IN A DESERT.
IN THIS DAY OF TECHNOLOGY, WHY CAN'T
THEY BRING ALL THE SNOW FROM BACK EAST AND THE
MIDWEST, AND DUMP THEM ON OUR MOUNTAINS?

WE'RE SUPPOSED TO HIT ANOTHER RECORD TODAY.
I THINK I'LL WASH MY CAR.
AND FOR NOW, I WILL CONTINUE TO ENJOY
SPRINGTIME IN THE WINTER!!!
