SO LONG, FAREWELL . . . ENES HAS LEFT THE BUILDING

"So long, farewell
Auf Wiedersehen, goodnight

I hate to go and leave this pretty sight

So long, farewell
Auf Wiedersehen, adieu

Adieu, adieu
To you and you and you."

This is a great song from
The Sound of Music.

Enes Kanter had a rough game the day before
All-Star break.
He demanded to be traded.
He's a restricted free agent, meaning...if he's
to stay with the Jazz, any team can make an offer,
and the Jazz must match it.
If not, he leaves...and we get nothing.
(They did this last summer with Gordon Hayward.)
We basically got draft picks, and the rights
to a European player.
Enes has had to split time with our
"Rising Star," Rudy Gobert.

On the trade deadline day...Kanter is gone.
So is Steve Novak.  Novak probably did not want to go.
Oklahoma City is now their home.

It didn't take the Jazz long to get rid of all
signs of Enes.

Rudy has now emerged.

And

Enes has left the building.
